Chartis backs experienced creators who build Fortnite games made for mobile. You get funding, feedback, free assets, and the biggest network in UEFN.
Fortnite came back to iPhone worldwide in May 2026. The Google Play Store version returned worldwide in March 2026 and hit 5.7 million downloads in days. Most of these players only play on mobile. For them, Fortnite is a mobile game.
Most games today are still designed for mouse and keyboard. That leaves a big opening. Build for mobile first, with bigger touch controls, quick sessions, and gameplay made for the screen players hold in their hands. The players are already there. Very few people are building for them.
We think the best new games will be made for mobile first. We want to fund the creators who build them. This is the Chartis Request for Mobile.
You don't have to pick one of these to apply. If one of them fits, go for it.
The biggest mobile games are not shooters. They are Match-3 games, tycoons, runners, and puzzles. Build one of those inside Fortnite. If you have made mobile games but never used UEFN, we still want to hear from you.
Mobile is social. Fortnite is social. Build new ways to play with friends on mobile, like quick sessions, drop-in play, and party games.
Fortnite combat was made for controllers. Rebuild it for touch. Design controls, menus, and game loops that feel made for thumbs.

No. You can come from UEFN, or from mobile games with no Fortnite experience yet. We mostly look at the idea and whether you can build it.
Chartis invests $10,000 to $50,000 in your game. In return we take a share of 10% to 30%, as equity or revenue rights. The exact numbers depend on the game and how far along you are. We put everything in writing before you sign.
You stay the creator and you lead the build. For funding, Chartis takes a minority share, between 10% and 30%, as equity or revenue rights. You keep the rest. We walk you through the terms for publishing, distribution, and sponsors before you sign.
Yes. Cohort 1 is for solo creators and small teams.
The game is built for touch and short mobile sessions from the start. It is not a desktop game made smaller to fit a screen.
We review applications now. We confirm dates with accepted creators.
